Charmonium Mod adds additional noises to your vanilla world's events and biome areas by combining numerous vanilla sounds. Pay attention to nature.

Charmonium is a client-only Minecraft (Fabric) mod that adds Ambient biome sound effects, Underground sound effects, and new background music. It may be used when connecting to vanilla Minecraft servers because it is a client-only mod. It's also meant to work well with Vanilla+ modifications and gets smarter if Charm is present on the server.

Key Features of Charmonium Mod:

  • Dynamic Ambient Sounds: Biome-specific background audio changes depending on your location, including forests, caves, mountains, and more.
  • Enhanced Immersion: Increases realism by including subtle environmental sounds such as wind, water flow, cave echoes, and bird calls.
  • Lightweight and compatible: Works with most mods without affecting performance, making it ideal for modpacks.
  • Charm Integration: Designed to work with the popular Charm mod, but also works independently for immersive soundscapes.
  • Sounds change depending on the time of day, location, and surrounding blocks.
  • Biome-specific environmental noises during the day and night add dimension to an otherwise unsettlingly quiet world.
  • Cave noises become more intense as you mine deeper, but they decrease when you illuminate the surrounding area.
  • Wooden creaking sounds can be heard in mine shafts.
  • During the day, villages make general activity noises.
  • The "Ambient Sounds" slider in Minecraft's settings can be used to control the volume of ambient sounds.
